Swim coaches will appreciate the functionality of this application, particularly when designing practice and test sets.

Efforts to maintain engaging and varied swim practices often involve prescribing unconventional swim distances. For instance, completing 10x125 sets can bring more variety compared to the standard 10x100 swims. Similarly, a set of 3x450 might prove more effective than the traditional 3x500.

The challenge for coaches lies in determining suitable intervals for these innovative distances. While some coaches may possess the prowess to effortlessly select the perfect interval for peculiar distances, the SwimPace app serves as a valuable solution for the rest of us.

This app operates bidirectionally. Given a distance, it calculates the corresponding time; conversely, when provided with a time, it offers the distance covered. The app allows for customization, enabling coaches to display various combinations swum at a specified pace on a table of any size.

Many coaches incorporate periodic T30 or T20 test sets (30-minute or 20-minute swims) to assess swimmers' fitness levels. The SwimPace app aids coaches in interpreting results by computing the fundamental 100 pace achieved.

During the annual one-hour swim race held by Masters in the USA every January, the app proves beneficial in strategizing by assisting in setting goal paces per 50.

Furthermore, an interesting application of a tempo trainer involves setting the beep to sound every half length of the pool. Observing swimmers' dedication to outpace the beep can be truly rewarding for any coach. Remarkably, the app offers flexibility even in setting distances as short as 12.5 meters.

The app features:
<ul>
 <li>Convert distance to time: input various swim distances (e.g., 12.5, 50, 100, 150) to calculate corresponding paces.</li>
 <li>Convert time to distance: enter different times (e.g., 1:00.00, T30, 1 hour) to determine distances based on your chosen pace.</li>
 <li>Optional additional columns are provided for adjusting intervals based on multiple lanes with varying abilities. Coaches can select an interval for the fastest lane and view corresponding intervals for lanes traveling at slower paces (5, 10, 15, and 20 seconds per 100).</li>
 <li>A set of customizable "quick pick" buttons remains accessible at all times for prompt pace selection in case of larger tables. These buttons can be preset with common distances like 100 meters.</li>
